This is pointless for the size of TV most people have. It's only really useful at events where you have massive screens to display on.

Yes, and HD was useless when it first came out, and so was the DVD...the point is that technology is moving forward and that can only be a good thing. Eventually people will have this instead of a projector for their movie room. Think big Bungle.
