Note sure why you would want it to auto overwrite data though, just get a big memory card.

Because I want something that I wouldn't need to attend to constantly. With a Go-Pro, once the card is full, it stops recording. This is simply impractical for a car camera. With a true Car camera, once it's in place, you would never need to touch it or perform any type of maintenance.

So far, this one seems to have all the features I need.

Same processor as a Go-Pro, but has auto start and stop and continuous loop recording.
