The days of things costing half the price in the US compared to the UK are gone. You might save 20% on UK prices (depending on the sales tax of the state you are in), but that's about it.

Enjoy the change of culture though. I love it in the states, it's a completely different state of mind to the UK. Regardless of what Will and the other Americans on here say, you can't fail to have a good time on your first time to America.

EDIT: Oklahoma though...what are you being punished for?

EDIT2: Some electronics are still a lot cheaper over there.
