We arrived in the airport late yesterday evening after a many fun ~ 17 hours of travelling from UK. Obviously pretty tired. Our hotel was apparently really close and there was meant to be a shuttle to take us. This was none existent after standing around and twiddling our thumbs the cab drivers were refusing to drive us since it was so close ...? ( WTF do these guys not have a minimum fare, I can get a taxi down the street in most places )

So we walked, quickly discovering the lack of a pavement (side-walk) so had to navigate over fences and roads. It wasn't *that* close though but easily walk able in 10 mins. Seems odd to have no way of easily walking

Certainly is warm here, late evening was a pleasant temperature.
