There's lots of fantastic theme songs that have come out recently. Six Feet Under, Dexter, and True Blood, to name a few.

...yes, and Rome and Deadwood. All Cable shows - basically your mainstream network TV shows don't do this anymore, because it eats into quality time they could spend shoving ads in your face.
