The problem is that a female indentikit version of yourself may seem good in the interim but in my experience it leads to horrendous arguments. You want someone that challenges you, gets you involved in things you might not otherwise do. I know it's horrendously cliche' but you need a Yin to your Yang.
Actually in nearly 7 months of living together we haven't had a single argument and that's the Truth.
We simply don't have a single problem, The only time we have ever come close to having an argument was from an outside influence, i.e. her son causes problems or her ex (who we are going through a custody battle with) gives her problems or tells lies.

Because my partner is so much like myself, we enjoy the same things, have the same type of humour and we resolve problems in the same way too, I've never been happier tbh.

I've experienced that "yin and yang" with other partners and it didn't work out as much as you would have thought it would, But I've now got someone who is more on my level than any person I've ever met, friends and partners alike.
