I dont judge my opinions on shows like that... I would say it is more ignorant saying "aliens dont exist" or even religeon is more ignorant tbh...

I judge my opinions on facts such as the size of the universe and number of planets and the probability of life on other planets from facts like tht.

Yes they are just entertainment but they are based on real theories and facts... Technically every program on Tv is entertainment... Does not mean that some of it is not informative or relevant..

It is less ignorant to watch programs like that and say "mmm alien life is possible" then it is to ignorantly say "meh aliens are blatantly just made up" There is nothing outside of the solar system which is taught in school.. Bit of a silly post there tbh

Dude first of all i´ve read more books on the topic than most libraries have on the subject, so i think i can talk about this.
I´m very aware of the ways the media works, that what you get to see on TV is cut up bs in so many cases just taking comments and cutting them totally out of meaning, often enough pulling comments and cuts so far away from the original questions/stories that for anyone that´s really looking for anything but brainless entertainment, they´re worthless.
