FUCK THAT SHIT.

ELECTED OFFICIALS ARE NOT LEADERS.

IN AMERICA, EACH PERSON IS (PROPERLY) HIS OWN LEADER.

ELECTED OFFICIALS ARE REPRESENTATIVES.... PROXIES....

MESSENGERS.... NOT LEADERS.... AND THE LAWFUL MATTERS

WHICH THEY MAY ADDRESS ARE NARROWLY LIMITED.

Unfortunately the media is all to willing to "forget" that politicians are glorified civil servants that work for the people. Perhaps one of the worst offenders in FOX's Bill O'Reilly and his belief that the Office of the President has to be respected and that we have to bow and scrape to whomever is in that office. Bullshit, the person that occupies that office needs to respect those who pay his wages and needs to bow and scrape to those who pay his wages.

Politicians should not be referred to as "Sir" and "Ma'am" (though madam might fit Nancy Pelosi) by their employers but need to address their employers (the taxpayers) as "Sir" and "Ma'am"
