Hello guys!!! How adsense can help me to earn money?

I want to know all information which helps me to earn by adsense. Right now I have no website or blog but I will soon going to make a website and host it.
I would like to make Ads-Friendly website so please also help me with site designing?

Did you already earned much money with adsense can you tell us how much you had earned?

What is the procedure to approving google adsense account?

Please help me I am very serious to earn money through adsense after I seen my friend who is earning $400+ in a month without doing anything.
