Actually, he might say that the Qur'an allows eating of everything except the animals mentioned in Verse 5:3.

We say: Fair enough. Now show us whether it is totally disallowed to eat and drink our own filth, and how you deduce that from the Qur'an alone. If they say that "Allah does not command the Fahshah", we say that this would need an interpretation, since - believe me- there are certain religious cults that engage in drinking and eating human filth, so in their narrow understanding, the intake of such filth is not ritualistically abominable.
Brother are you suggesting that before your ancestors read the sahih bukhari etc they used to serve human filth for lunch and dinner? And they only learnt to stop eating human excrement after the advent of the sahih bukhari and such? My word - what an interesting ancestry you have.

Even among animals only a few like the pig consume filth. Maybe that is why we call it a 'filthy pig'. The vast majority of animals do not consume animal filth of any sort. And the vast majority of humans who are non Muslim (hindus, christians, buddhists, taoists) have a fairly well developed food and culinary culture. I have never seen any non Muslim recipe books about how to serve human filth at the dinner table. That shall be the preserve of your ancestors alone.

The Quran says : "No one can believe without Allah's permission for He casts filth (al rijsun) upon those who do not use their brains".
