Oh, how could I miss this comment? Sharia-Kid, it seems that you are proud of the Turkish inspired invasion of the highlands from 500 years ago eh? What is there to be proud of being foot soldiers of the Turks buster? besides, haven't you been shown countless times that Gragn was most likely not a Somali even though he had probably many Somali foot soldiers. But most of all, Gragn destroyed many beautiful and historical church edifices and manuscripts of the highlands that even Muslims of the horn today could have been proud of, yet he left us nothing of value whilst on his destruction spree, not even one mosque or even one edifice saying 'I gragn did this', the only thing he left was just death, killing and mayhem very fitting as to the mad dog that he was, you must like that eh? since it is along the lines of what your relatives have been doing in mog for the past 20 years.
Thats my history, heroic, bold, ferocious. Some of the units that fought alongside Imaan Ahmed Gurey had been recruited from the surrounding area's of my own village. So i could very well be the progeny of those men.
It was not an easy process as the Habesha's were very large in number. In each battle we were always outnumbered by a ratio of 50:1. But what they had in numbers they lacked in heart and courage. From battle to battle we cut them apart until the Somali reputation became formidable. Where Habesha towns would begin to surrender only on sight of a few somali scouts. The Ethiopian peasant population was very easy to rule, as they were timid and only wished to live their lives in peace regardless of who ruled them. We would put in place a few somali/afar warriors in every strategic hill top overlooking the countryside. To police and protect tens of thousands of Ethopian peasants who had turned into new subjects.
That was the period when Islam took root in Ethiopia. Where many had converted because of the excellence of the Somali/Afar warrior. The power and courage that he displayed was attractive to the population.
Lastly the name is not Ahmed Gragn but Ahmed Gurey. Just had to correct that error. 500 years on and Ahmed Gurey is still the greatest somali ever, we still sing about him, build statues for him. Name streets and monuments after him.

lol, whatever Sheik Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis
I am not making this stuff up, these are facts. Meles and Isaias Afewerki both had somali passports. No country on earth had worked harder for Eritrea's breakaway from Ethiopia than Somalia. And I doubt that Eritrea would return to Ethiopia, not when Tigray meles is in charge, lol. That is the price that ethiopia must pay and continue to pay for holding on to Ogadenia. Inshallah next goal is the Republic of Oromia
