Well I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with trying new flavours. You always return to the one you like most, but other flavours have their own qualities as well. It's like how Ml Yunus Patel saheb always mentions that different different majaalis all have their unique flavours. While you will obviously stick and take Islaah from the shaykh you have taken bay'ah with, there's nothing wrong in sitting in the majaalis of other ulama as long as you do not follow their awraad and dhikr etc, or unless your shaykh has made it clear to you not to.
