India deputy Councillor or some officer of similar rank said that the live could have been saved if the in-charge of the tent lane had not locked the gate.

Now figure out the action ensuing from here?
Did the lane in-charge get the boot?
No, the deputy Councillor had to do intense lobbying in India to save his job.
Reason? Lane in-charge can not be at fault - he has been assigned by the king!
