Yes, but lets say you are Latvian and you marry lets say one Estonian from this forum

, your mother would not be able to talk to him, would she? Then if you decided to speak Estonian at home, your mom would not be able to speak to her grandchildren?

I know a few marriages like this but I did not ask to be honest, but maybe some people know deeper?
