Well the truth is, there is no REAL beef honestly, black people tend to generally get along. However, I am around Africans, and I generally dont hear much. On the other hand quite few African Americans (colonial descent) have issues with their own heritage and try to distance themselves from Africa, so an African person is a thing to poke fun at and ridicule, especially if they're dark-skinned. From Kunta Kinte' Jokes, to African booty scratcher, darkie, poor, flies, I've heard it all. This being said, while I think the African American community, is more on the ignorant side of the spectrum when it comes to Africa, I think those who TRULY have an issue with Africa are in the definite minority.Too add, I would like to say that the things I've heard about African Americans from Africans, are the things all immigrants regardless of race say, mainly, " lazy." In my opinion, the African jokes are just an extension of the issues African Americans have with their own community. Goodhair/lightskinned vs Darkskinned added with some economic prowess of being American= this barely there beef. A lot of it boils down to looks as well These Nigerian American Girls are less likely to have a problem
