In France there are some tensions between French Caribbeans and West Africans. Because we are from the french overseas and because the majority of French Caribbeans don't consider themselves african.

Over here, I live near Gousainnville just right outside of Paris, to the outsider every black person here must be an "African" so I understand why some French Caribbeans don't consider themselves African, even some multi-generational Black French don't consider themselves African.
