Yeh maybe so roo-ted.... Leederville is great now.

But if Subiaco Oval was to become this "boutique stadium" the WAFL would probably want to get some WAFL football played there other than just a Grand Final. Maybe neutral games or half a dozen double headers like they did briefly in the eighties.

Get rid of some seating behind the goals at the city end ground level and put in grass.

However the city of Perth simply does not require venues like Subiaco and the WACA to lay dormet under such circumstances. Cricket could be relocated to Subiaco Oval and the WACA scrapped completely. The WACA really is a white elephant these days.
