It's amazing how for a rich country we are so unwilling to upgrade and build new infrastructure.

When I lived in Argentina, I was amazed how they were able to afford to expand all their underground railways networks (Subte) in every direction so quickly. They currently have a 76 station network.

Odd, how they (A 1st, 2nd, 3rd world country rolled into one) can get these things done and we are unwilling to. I wont even go into how many Subaico plus size stadiums they have in Buenos Aires alone. Probably 8 or 9 from memory.

The new stadium in Perth needs to be 90,000. It sounds a lot but our population is expanding at such a rate (Currently 1.67 million) that even 90,000 probably wont service the city beyond 2020 or 2025.
