One is still a bad mathematician (?) if you start adding:
1 sv/day
1 sv/hour
1 sv/year
________+
= 3sv

He probably missed the caveat at the bottom.

Initially I did miss that. Drawing up a chart and writing at the bottom it is probably full of faults doesn't make it any less confusing though. But in a sense that probably means that the author agrees with my assessment

I actually find it more worrysome that he isn't objecting getting doses from mammography

Is that directed at me? If so, I don't understand what you're getting at.
