There are christian churches that marry gay couples, happily. There are some that ordain openly gay clergy. They will do this no matter how long you prattle on in ignorance.

Bigotry? Yes, I'd say you have a narrow-minded bias. Your bias is so pronounced that you would bring out this important aspect of Fun's life to be critical of after he's mentioned suicide.
