People subconciusly prefer people that look like them and dislike foreigners and need extensive training to offset this if they want to be neutral.

I reject that. The people in question have been 'conditioned' to fear anything different. Fear based on prejudice is not natural or rational. Basic ecologic, DNA or diversity based survival instinct dictates that compatible foreigners are a treasure. According to your reasoning, inbreeding or a reduction of genetic diversity is a natural status quo. Your logic is in opposition to all known natural science. If people, or the biosphere for that matter, were naturally inclined to monoculture... life itself would not exist.

You are fundamentally wrong; break your chains.
