Which is odd because the Brits have a very large corpus of synonyms for masturbate. It's almost like how the Eskimo and Inuits have a million different words for snow because that's all they deal with...

spew means the same thing here. It never meant masturbation.

Someone is confusing it with splooge- which happens with a variety of sexual practices, not just jerking off.
