I found this expression in Pali-Canon, Sri Lanca edition page368ff.This expression i only found in this chapter. The whole sentence is: There is no spiritual birth. It´s discussion betwwen Kassapo and Payasi, Kassapo denys spiritual birth.
My question is: Is this expression mentioned more often in Dighanikayo?
My interpretation would be, of the the phrase that there is a spititual birth, that the positive Karma is being transferred to the next reincarnation?
I would be very glad if i was given a profound answer

Is it DN 23 - Payasi sutta?

It was not spoken by the Buddha. The sutta is a dialogue between kumara kassapa and Payasi (a prince). It is believed that the the dialogue happened after the Buddha's death, if it happened at all. This sutta is very likely a third-party addition with no or little basis on Buddha's teachings.
