I think Jamaicans tend to be taller on average.

Lots of tall dark slim people in Jamaica. There are mixed sectors of Jamaica (such as Southern St. Elizabeth) but most of Jamaica is still predominantly African/dark skinned followed by Afromixed "Browns". The average Dominican in Jamaica would be part of the Brown minority. Me, for example, I was just assumed a brown Jamaican...of Black Chinese extraction. A couple times I was confused for other people. One man in Mandeville, Manchester asked me if my name was Lee then again in Montego Bay airport a taxi driver asked me if I was the son or brother of a Ras that used to drive a van from MoBay to Mandeville. They were both really hyped about me being these people and that one guy in the airport exclaimed I had to be that person. Black people in Jamaica also can't believe I'm not Chinese mixed; (unless you're dealing with a college/self educated person) the commoner is oblivious to Native/mixed people still existing in the world.
