Well I guess that's because you are predominally Spanish and you probably feel better among whites than you'd feel among "Laura en America" Peruvians...
and I also guess you had a different education and culture than the majority of Peruvians who are very Amerindian
LOL yeah, that's basically what I said. But don't get fooled by the racial/amerind tag tho. I've met a couple of amerind looking but educated peruvians who did very well in the States. In the end culture is even stronger than race when it comes to success and asimilate.
