I have to ask this because I've seen it everywhere on the internet and in real life to some extent. Recently I was reading a book on Einstein and the author made an allusion to his wife Mileva Maric's ugliness by describing her features as "heavy Slavic" and in the same sentence discribing in great detail some of her other uncomplimentary physical imperfections. What are "heavy Slavic features" and why are they considered unnatractive? And what are Slavic features anyway? Most Slavic people look like slightly darker Balts, not counting Balkan Slavs of course who are actually Slavicized Thracians to a large degree. Is it because people associate features such as those of Leonid Brezhnev, who wasn't a typical Slav by any stretch of the imagination, with the Slavs?
