I only consider people of Nordid or Faelid phenotypes to be white.

In the 1900s Sweden, only people with phenotypes who could pass for Swedish, spoke "real Swedish" dialects and had a Swedish name were considered "truly white". Both Finns and Scanians could be quite badly spoken of. I remember that Selma Lagerlöf, a big writer at the time, once said that she had Finnish ancestry and "were sorry for it". She is also supposed to have said some bad things about "introverted Scanians" or something like that. She and Ellen Key, another writer, supported the "Racial Institute" of Uppsala, that did a lot of Finn- and Walloon-bashing (to a little extent, they also actually bashed the Danes). Other than this, they of course also had the opinion that people with dark hair were more prone to commit crimes.

Nowadays, Swedes and immigrants with phenotypes who could pass for Swedish are "white". I have heard rumours about that in the 1960s or 1970s, some restaurants were supposed to have had signs saying something like "Greeks and Turks do not need to bother", so I guess it's quite obvious that some, if not many, Southern Europeans are generally not considered white. Not so long ago, I experienced an Italian guy getting called "that immigrant" ("immigrant" means "non-white") by a Swede.
so would jhon ausonius aka "lasermannen" not be considered "truly white" in sweden?
