what led to this is a seperate issue though. historically blacks and poor rural whites for that matter were not given the same quality of education afforded by other races.black schools were largely underfunded and neglected as a whole, and before that they weren't allowed an education at all. it's not all bad though, when you consider that in the 1930-40's only about a 5th or so black children were enrolled in highschool, now the number is much higher..but they still lag behind and it will likely be like that for always.[COLOR="Silver"]
