Yeah, it's there in Japanese. You can see it with genetics and frequency of Y-DNA D2 in Japan, a third of the population. I have around 1.18% Australasian in World9. Assuming that is real then my grandmother passed it to me and probably had around 5%. She was from Osaka which you would expect to be completely saturated with mainland gene flow. It would be nice if someone would do some autosomal DNA tests on tribal Ainu while they still exist.
