What do you mean selection bias? That's a vague term in itself. What do you mean specifically by it?

Anyways, what's more likely is your definition of cute don't fit the average phenotype of South Asians in California.

Anyways, there are some significant populations of South Asians in Sacramento. Stockton to some extent as well. Anyways, I didn't know Stockton or Sacramento had much if any Pakistanis. The majority of South Asians in Sacramento are Sikh Punjabis.

Especially in parts like Yuba City, Marysville, Elk Grove, etc.

Well, I meant that the population that I'm observing (the Fremont South Asians) is mostly made of nerdy Engineer girls simply because of the prominent industry in the area. It wouldn't be a good sample to generalize an entire race by.

Yeah there were quite a few pakistani's in my Area in central valley. There was a mosque too, where mostly Pakistani's frequented, and few muslim schools out there.

There was also a sikh Temple about 10 miles away from my house In lodi.
