It's interesting to hear about Arab women in Michigan dating out. Actually I am not surprised to hear it. This cultural / religious fear of the father or brothers honor killing the woman or her boyfriend, doesn't seem to carry much weight here. I suppose you're more likely to be killed for your valuables than family honor of your Muslim girlfriend in our society.

Highest and most concentrated number in this country, but in some European cities there are more.

it has more to do with culture not religion, certain ethnicities are more strict compared to others even though they are both muslims. in Britain for example there is an huge asian (Pakistani) community where honor killings are quite frequent, they live in an enclosed community and most people know each other.

i actually believe that asian/arab muslims are far more stricter and relegious compared to african muslims
