Actually in that one study it was Slovakia and Hungary that had the highest yields, Poland and Russia were closely behind.
You're refering to Neolithic mtDNA N1a. That didn't have anything directly to do with Indo-Europeans.

Also, mtDNA isn't all that important since we're discussing migrations of mostly and sometimes only men. However, if you must know, one particular N1a haplotype found in one of the Andronovo proto-Scythians had modern matches in Poland.
