Aryans were a people. Their descendants moved to the British Isles and created Eireland and in Western China they were known as Tocharians.

Is there an actual etymological connection between these terms? I've heard of Eire before as some sort of connection to Aryan, but Tocharian in this context was a new one. What did the Tocharian call themselves in their native IE-language?
