Yes Tocharian A were called different names by different people.
Tocharian A is a modern interpretation of a possible dialect based on written sources...

Adds up doesn't it? Doesn't have anything to do with "aryan" so no it doesn't add up.

When outsiders called them something closely related to Tocharian, its more credible than what Douglas Q. Adams hypothesized. I am terrible sorry, lets not get into things you do not know anything about, I've told you both back on AF and here.
