i do not think clothing style has something to do with being a slut.. it is only about the taste/preference that the girl thinks goes best with herself..

No, it doesn't. There is a stereotype associated with ''that type'' of clothing. What do prostitutes wear ''on work'' ? That type of clothing is deemed as slutty.
Also, in places where ''being modest'' with their clothing is the norm. People who ''reveal a bit more'' is deemed slutty.
