It's the definition of Merriam Webster Dictionary. Of course everybody uses the words differently.

Anyway, that definition also says you're racist if, for example, you say: "All mestizos are stupid" "all asians are smart" "all whites are pussy", since it says "the belief that the genetic factors which constitute race are a primary determinant of human traits and capacities "
