From what I know so far.
Balanta
Wolof
Fulani (largest nomadic tribe in the World)
Hausa
Yoruba
Dogan

All have connections with East Africa.

This is more than a significant amount. Im sure there are others Im not saying they should all claim Nubia and blah blah...im just saying they are related people no doubt

I wouldn't consider them descendants of Nubians, but I agree with them being somewhat linked to East Africans. I will repeat again, very few have Nubian roots and just because they come from The Sudan does not mean they have ancestral roots from Nubia. Fuck it if they have Nubian roots then all of Africa has Nubian roots and that to me sounds idiotic...it be like saying all Irish people have Germanic ancestral roots because they have Celtic blood
