My SSA is predominately West African so my homecoming would be mainly limited to the western coast and the adjoining desert borderlands (unless I honor my minor Bantu roots and then I would head off to Gabon and the Congo, too). Nigeria would be a given (I'm partially Igbo on my father's side -- discovered this thanks to genetic testing) but given current political turmoil there, I am not so sure if it's a great time. My mother is of partial Sahelian descent -- she certainly descends from a Chadic-speaking people -- and I would not be averse to exploring that area either. Safety first though! Don't expect me to head out there when I hear people are being beheaded in the middle of the Christian-Muslim conflicts like I'm hearing happened in Northern Nigeria. Once the coast is clear and I have the funds, count me in.

I have some Malagasy friends and I would like to visit with them on the island.
