lol I understand. I'd think you would like to visit Sahelian groups within Northern or Mid Mali and Niger. Making sense of your pull, you Sahelian ancestry may most likely come from that region.

My mtDNA is probably either from northern areas of Cameroon or those two -- Mali or Niger. Outside of direct Sahel ancestry, I am told I could also possibly descend from Chadian descendants who emigrated to the northern areas of Cameroon thousands of years back. No way to know without deeper testing.

Fulani has been the oft-floated suggestion. It's also very likely.
