The answer is simple when we talk about Europe anyway. Two world wars took out the strongest men from the gene pool. The cowards and the weaklings survived and they tried to divide the females amongst themselves according to loser tactics. That's why they introduced the pill and women's lib in the first place. Now 60 years later, a lot of women have to look for men in prison, because there isn't good breeding stock to go around.
