Horse head - that's stolen from Lithuanians, because they usually call Latvians like that. And you know why? Well, I thought about that for a long time and my versions were that maybe we look like horses in the eyes of Lithuanians or maybe we are just ugly, but no. Actually it is because the the Gulf of Riga reminds them a horse:

It's indeed stolen from Lithuanians. It seems like only Estonians and Lithuanians have stereotypes about Latvians, maybe also the Russians living in the Baltics have their stereotypes.
