Greeks from Syracussa were greeks as phoenicians from Carthago were phoenicians. Obviously, they had to mix to a certain degree -centuries living there..-with locals, but a mixed middle eastern, north african and iberian guy -probably Hannibal's mother- would result a random med guy.
