Anyway, regarding this mestizaje in Mexico at least, it is seen not only as a racial thing, but cultural phenomenon. Many of these white looking mexicans who say they are mestizos for what I've seen they're not necessarily talking about race in the most biological sense, but they are talking about the cultural mestizaje that took place in the land and of which all Mexicans participate, regardless of race.

I've seen blue-eyed guys identify with the peoples of this land more and I don't think there's anything wrong with that, I don't know why such a thing seems to offend you
