The Latinos mentioned there were all Indios.

You didnt get it... He actually meant that he couldn't understand why Middle eastern looked worse (scored lower) than latinos, but who actually scored lower than latinos weren't middle eastern(near eastern types) but rather arabs like yemeni, saudi arabian and egyptians, osama bin laden types, not your pseudo mediterranean looking lebanese or israeli.
