Well, people can call themselves whatever they want but they aren't the Native American Indians. Most Hispanics have tons of Spanish blood.
I agree. Only Guatemalans that speak Maya-Quiché, Bolivians that speak Aymara/Quechua or Mexicans that speak any of their native languages have the right to call themselves "Indian". And even this term is really a misnomer, as the real Indians are the inhabitiants of India, whereas it would be more suitable for these Native Americans to simply identify by their tribal names (Maya, Aymara, Mapuche, etc.).
