I don't know, I think it would be good to acknowledge all parts of their roots. We Acadians are proud of our European and Amerindian roots. Probably most Acadians are more towards the European side (I am genetically, and so are those I share with on 23andme) but we acknowledge that Amerindians contributed to and had a profound impact on our culture, so we have Amerindian as well as European roots, even though we're European genetically.
Yes, i agree about the roots. But accept it as a reality is strange. Because no one knows what the indians were like, most things about the indians here are fancy histories made by people that claims reparation money. About Europe modern Europe is completely different than South America i know both places and it is different, the influence is clear. But SA today looks like a developing model of the USA.
