Ethnic make-up of Rotterdam

Figures are from 2008:

* Total: 582,949
* Dutch: 313,765
* Surinamese: 51,885
* Turkish: 45,699
* Moroccan: 37,476
* Antillean / Aruban: 19,562
* Other EU: 32,134 (mainly from Poland, Bulgaria and Romania)
* Other: 67,457 (mainly Yugoslav, Chinese, Horners and Latino's)

In 2010 the number of people with a non-Dutch background exceeded the autochtonous Dutch population, which made the Dutch a minority in Rotterdam.
