You came into this thread looking for an excuse for your racism and didn't get what you wanted, big damn deal. There's nothing wrong with despising immoral behavior but despising people because of their social and economic class and race? Totally retarded and unacceptable, people who live in the ghettos despise the immoral behavior of others who live in the ghetto with them, in fact *MOST* of them do, but unlike you they don't use it as a tool to hate and entire class or race of people.
No shit, there are honest hardworking people who live in the ghetto, and they hate their sorry-ass neighbors. They are just trying to live their lives and raise their kids and not be robbed, beaten, or shot by some low-life who lives down the block. All they want in life is for their kids to get a better education and be able to move the hell away from that nonsense. There are trailer parks and barrios like that too, you know.

There are multiple sources for racism in society, for example:

1. Learned from your parents and extended family

2. Learned from your peers (school, work, etc.)

3. Learned institutionally (government, education system, etc.)

4. Learned first-hand through direct encounters

The point of my post is that I have unquestionably developed some racist views. I didn't pick it up from #1 (non-racist parents) or #2 (dumbass rednecks I ignore), you would assert #3 (programmed by white society), but I assert it was primarily #4.

The Dominicans you're beefing with in the other thread, and the reason you started this thread, are also claiming #4. The reason I posted here was not to proudly proclaim my racism or make excuses for it, but to try to help you understand it and relate better to those guys. The reason I took on this task is because I thought I might be able to relate it to you better than they did, since culturally (whether you like it or not) I am closer to you than they are.

Now you can go on thinking I'm a racist, and I can go on about my business, but please do keep in mind what I was trying to do was help you understand root causes of racism from a different perspective.
