I think people should stop having that many kids, if you can barely sustain yourself why bring a child to this world?

That makes sense in our minds, but not to those living in poor countries. The majority of the poor are in agriculture, so by having a lot of children they receive free labor for their farms. Also, there probably isn't adequate birth control in these regions, which results in a higher population.
