Which answer to the question "what happens after death" makes the most sense: Extinction, Resurrection or Reincarnation?

Ancient Egypt taught bodily Resurrection after death followed by eternal heaven or hell, and christians and muslims continue to subscribe to this belief. India teaches Reincarnations until eventual return to the Source/God. Atheist materialists teach complete extinction/annihilation at death.

There is no possible rational or moral defense for the belief in bodily resurrection and eternal Hell. And until science can explain the origins of consciousness atheists cannot presume to know that bodily death means the end of consciousness as well.

And the concept of "There are 10 souls, a generation later there are 30 souls, a generation later there are 300 souls, and they're all reincarnated" makes much more sense.

The world is far more densely populated with life, be it human, animal, or plant than it had been in the past.
